SCOPE OF WARRANTY
THE PC PROJECT warrants its Products against defects in hardware and workmanship under normal use for the applicable warranty period, commencing from the Date of Original Retail Purchase.
Warranty Periods

Three (3) Years - Pre-built and Custom Systems

One (1) Year - Accessories and individual components

Thirty (30) Days - QA Approved Components
This warranty operates in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
COVERAGE
This warranty applies only to Products supplied and assembled by THE PC PROJECT.
During the applicable warranty period, Products are warranted to be free from defects in hardware and artistry under normal use.
System Warranty

Custom-built and pre-built systems include a return-to-base warranty

Covers diagnosis and repair of hardware faults under normal use

Warranty duration is specified at the time of purchase
Component Warranty

Individual components are covered under their respective manufacturer's warranties

Warranty periods may vary depending on the manufacturer
Warranty does not cover:

Physical damage or accidental damage

Misuse, neglect, or improper handling

Unauthorised modifications or repairs

Software-related issues (unless specified)

Damage caused during transport due to improper packaging when returning a product is not covered under warranty.
Any attempt to repair or modify the system without prior approval may void the warranty.
THIRD-PARTY COMPONENTS
Components sourced from third-party manufacturers may be covered under their respective manufacturer warranties, where applicable.
Customers should refer to the original manufacturer’s warranty terms for specific coverage details.
QA APPROVED COMPONENTS
(Verified under the Zero-Failure Initiative)
QA Approved Components refer to pre-owned or customer-selected hardware that has undergone a formal inspection, testing, and validation process prior to integration.
Each component is:

Audited and approved under internal QA standards
Only components that meet our strict approval criteria are cleared for system integration.
QA Process
All customer-supplied or pre-owned components are subject to a structured QA process, which may include:

Physical inspection and servicing (where required)
Any component that does not meet our standards will not be used in the final system.
Usage Acknowledgement
By selecting QA Approved Components, the customer acknowledges that:

These components are pre-owned or previously used

Individual parts may have varying lifespans and performance characteristics

All components are functional at the time of installation
QA Approved Components are covered by a 30-Day Limited Performance Warranty.
This includes:

This does not include:

Cosmetic wear

Misuse, overclocking, or external damage

Failures outside the expected component lifespan
Coverage Excludes:

WARRANTY CLAIMS PROCESS
If you believe your product is faulty, please get in touch with The PC Project via our warranty claim form.
Our team will:

Provide troubleshooting steps

Arrange a return if required
If a fault is confirmed, the product will be repaired, replaced, or resolved in accordance with this warranty.
AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality, and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
